It gives me great pride and satisfaction to write about SBM Education Foundation, Bongaigaon. We are passing through a tremendously changing process and our younger generation must be properly trained to address these challenges effectively, timely and meaningfully.
In the present national scenario, issues like poverty, social disorder, mistrust, corruption and violence affect society deeply. The only lasting solution lies in quality education that builds creativity, character and productivity.

Surendra Barman Memorial Education Foundation (Trust) was formed in the year 2018 in Bongaigaon District with the vision to run educational institutions across various disciplines.
In memory of Late Surendra Barman, land was generously donated for establishing SBM Group of Institutions. Today, the institution stands near Safaguri Chariali, adjacent to NH-27, serving students with dedication and commitment.
SBM Group of Institutions aims to create capable and self-reliant individuals through state-of-the-art infrastructure, experienced faculty and diverse academic methods that prepare future leaders of our region.
