Surendra Barman Memorial Law College was established under the Surendra Barman Memorial Education Foundation and received affiliation from Gauhati University in 2019.
The college obtained approval from the Bar Council of India (BCI) in 2022 and further received extension of affiliation from Gauhati University in 2025. The institution is dedicated to providing quality legal education with professional ethics and practical training.
The college offers the 3 Year LL.B Programme and is preparing to take admissions for the session 2026–27 as per university and BCI guidelines.
